Golf

There is only one full course on the Tango peninsula (Miyazu), and two others 30 kilometres to the west in the Kumihama/Kinosaki area. These three are listed below:

Miyazu Country Club

Description:  Located on the east side of the peninsula, looking out over Miyazu Bay. The famous sigjhtseeing spot, Amanohashidate, can been seen from some of the holes. Undulating hills create a very challenging course for the average golfer.

Cost:  9,000 yen including lunch and a hot bath after the round.

Kumihama Country Club

Description:  With half the course on the coast, and the other half in the mountains and forest, Kumihama really has something for everyone. A truly awesome golfing experience.

Cost:  9,000 yen including lunch and a hot bath after the round.

Kinosaki Country Club

Description:  Located 0n the steep slopes of the San’in coast, this course is more about accuracy than power. Incredible views of the coast from most holes, it is one of the most enjoyable rounds of golf I have ever had. More for the weekend golfer than the serious handicapper.

Cost:  Only 6,000 yen on weekdays, which includes lunch in the restaurant, and a hot spa after the round.
